Moisture missed without Infrared

Traditional home inspections rely on what the inspector sees with their unaided eye. But even the best inspector can't find what they can't see. Infrared Thermal Imaging (Thermography) makes it easier to find hidden defects and potential problems that will likely be missed by other inspectors.

Building diagnostic thermography can find invisible problems in a variety of areas.

What Infrared Thermal Imaging (Thermography) is NOT

• MOISTURE METER - The infrared thermal imaging camera is NOT a moisture measuring device. What it reveals under the right conditons is a thermal anomoly that may be caused by moisture. Moisture issues are always confirmed by other means before being reported as definite
• X-RAY VISION - The infrared thermal imaging camera is NOT an X- ray device. It does not emit any radiation of any sort. It cannot see through objects like an X-ray machine. It may detect heat differentials on the surface of a material that can indicate hidden issues that a trained inspector can recognize
• SILVER BULLET - No technology can completey remove the risk that concealed damage may exist and not be detected. The IR camera sees temperature differences. If no difference exists then the camera will not detect any issue, even if it exists. The Infrared camera increases the throughness of a home inspection and reduces the risk of something being jmissed. But it does reduce that risk to zero
